"You Don't Wanna Hold Her Hand, You Wanna to Dick Her!"

The immortal words once uttered by Jefferson Airplane frontwoman Grace Slick, pictured here with singing legend Janis Joplin.  This was Slick's response to 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' by The Beatles, in which Slick stated during a BBC documentary: "Of course you dont wanna hold her hand, you wanna dick her!". She looks cool, she sounds cool and she wrote 'White Rabbit' for God's sake! Grace Slick, I salute you.

  1. That 10-episode documentary was originally produced by the PBS between 1994 and 1995, its name was "Rock & Roll" and one year later it was re-edited by the BBC. She said that in the 6th episode which was focused on the Hippie Culture, when she talked about her work as the frontwoman of Jefferson Airplane; however, I would have loved to see that attitude in all the crap she recorded in the 80's with Starship!!! Of course, I prefer the silliness of the early Beatles' songs instead of all the garbage Grace Slick sang with Starship.
